My name is Aupenda-Angelique Simmons, founder and creative visionary behind House of Sacred Doula Alchemy. I believe every stage of life - from birth to rebirth, healing to transformation, celebration to grief, and life to death - deserves compassionate, intentional care that honors the whole person: mind, body, spirit, and legacy.
House of Sacred Doula Alchemy was founded on the belief that every life transition is sacred. Even in moments of uncertainty, pain, or loss, there is space for healing, dignity, peace, and transformation. My role is not to lead your journey, but to walk beside you with compassion, education, advocacy, and unwavering support, empowering you to make informed decisions while feeling seen, heard, and cared for.
I honor each person’s unique story, recognizing that healing is not linear and every family deserves personalized, holistic care. Whether supporting birth, pregnancy and infant loss, end-of-life transitions, legacy planning, or community education, my mission is to create safe spaces where individuals and families can navigate life’s most profound moments with courage, confidence, and hope.

As a Full Spectrum Birth Doula and Placenta Encapsulation Specialist, Aupenda is dedicated to empowering individuals and families throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, postpartum, and beyond with evidence-informed education, advocacy, and personalized care. Believing that every birth experience is unique and deserving of respect, Aupenda provides continuous emotional, physical, and informational support while honoring each family’s values, choices, and cultural traditions.
Her approach is rooted in creating calm, nurturing environments where parents feel informed, confident, and supported as they welcome new life. In addition to birth support, Aupenda offers professional placenta encapsulation services, helping families explore traditional postpartum wellness practices that may support recovery during the fourth trimester. She approaches every service with meticulous care, professionalism, and a commitment to safety and informed decision-making.
Whether preparing for birth, navigating postpartum recovery, or seeking guidance through the many transitions of parenthood, Aupenda’s mission is to ensure every client feels seen, heard, respected, and empowered. Full Spectrum Death Doula
As a Full Spectrum Death Doula, Aupenda provides non-medical, non-judgmental support to individuals, families, and caregivers as they navigate serious illness, the dying process, death, grief, and bereavement with dignity, presence, and compassion. Believing that every life deserves to be honored and every ending deserves to be met with care, Aupenda creates supportive spaces where individuals can explore their wishes, process emotions, have meaningful conversations, and prepare for the practical, emotional, spiritual, and legacy aspects of end-of-life.
She works alongside families to reduce fear through education, provide comfort during uncertainty, and help ensure that each person’s values, beliefs, and final wishes are respected.
Her services may include end-of-life planning, legacy projects, vigil support, compassionate companionship, family guidance, grief support, resource navigation, and assistance in creating meaningful rituals that honor life and remembrance. Aupenda recognizes that grief begins long before a loss occurs and continues long after, offering steady support throughout the entire journey.
